@DannyObrie12936@thfc_js Nah Pickford is so bad with the ball at his feet. Only when you’ve had a goalkeeper who is top level with the ball does it become so apparent how lacking Pickford is in this department.
@BloozEXTRA@1875KC Finally someone with actual sense here. The context being they’ve not played together as a back line before and add in Pickford who is shocking with the ball at his feet. Stones who is not match fit
@gsoccertalk@jonnason73@ElliotSpencer_X@mattyreeve5 Explain how. There is a still a measurement to be made from a still image render taken from a fast paced moving scene. Tell me how suddenly measuring the gap between is better or more clear than an overlap?
@villa_woody1000 It’s hard to shine when you got James all over the place to your right, stones all over the place to his left and rico isolated and making mistakes on the far left. Guehi in and you’d see a much more sure defensive line.
@gsoccertalk@jonnason73@ElliotSpencer_X@mattyreeve5 Wenger rule doesn’t solve it I’m afraid. Whether it is measuring millilitres of overlaps we have now or millimetres of gap we would have to do in the Wenger rule it’s still relying on perfect measures on what is low resolution blurry images.
@Riggynr@reel_villan Nothing to do with that. Konsa had a solid game and I fundamentally disagree that he was poor. The fact you think he was poor is your opinion for which you are wrong in my opinion. You commented so here we are.
@Ant_Mossarelli@AvfcU@mcgrathmike This 100%. It’s cos they all know geuhi should be there. But everyone is saying “but it’s John stones. You gotta have John stones”. It’s nonsense. He’s never been that good that he’s gotta be selected primarily because he’s never really been fit consistently his entire career
@gsoccertalk@jonnason73@ElliotSpencer_X@mattyreeve5 Are you all thick. Gvardiol was over a yard inside the area before the pen was taken, he then went on to head the rebound clear. It’s against the rules therefore disallowed. That on top of keeper coming off his line it was 100% correct to disallow it.
@Riggynr@reel_villan No he wasn’t. Perisic was playing left midfield. It was James’ man. James followed Sucic into the box where Konsa already was also running in leaving perisic on his own in the box. Watch it back and stop using whatever agenda it is you have to cloud logic
@TenHagBaller Idiot. Firstly yes there was. When yoh have a hi res image you can see he was off line. But it’s mainly the defender clearing the ball gvardiol was inside the area before Kane kicked it. Do some research of both the rules and what actually happened before you spout rubbish
@_Will30@DanielHussey2 Yeh I agree. Which is good cos it shows tuchel and his staff challenged them for not doing what he asked, reminded what they should be doing and they responded.
@_Will30@DanielHussey2 It does seem odd. My issue is less with Kane. I see it as an indictment of how we’ve been led and let down by like of Southgate and his negative and cautious tactics.
@FredAfc1@InvertTheWing No but when a player especially an inexperienced one is isolated it causes issues. Nico would be way better if he had Guehi next to him over stones.
