Spent the week in the British Virgin Islands at Fintech on the Seas.
The island continues to position itself as a global leader in digital assets, and @Meow is proud to contribute to the momentum.
Meow HQ has been a long time coming.
We started in a Miami apartment. Then came the four different co-working spaces in New York. And finally, a sublease in Soho.
Opening our headquarters hasn’t changed our DNA. It’s where we double down on it.
We're as hungry as ever and just getting started.
The next chapter of @Meow is underway.
Activities completed are a dead metric for sales reps.
When I started as a BDR in 2023, more volume directly correlated to more meetings.
Sales orgs defaulted to volume-based data like dials or emails per week because it was an easy way to measure effort. This was common everywhere and made sense in a world where everything was manual.
But now AI has made activities infinitely scalable. Since volume is free, reps completing 1000s of generic tasks no longer outperform ones completing 30 that are highly personalized.
The metrics that now matter most are:
1) cold call conversion - what % of connected calls turn into conversations and what % of conversations turn into meetings. This helps filter rep talent and call list quality. We'd rather have 50 calls converting at 30% than 100 converting at 5%.
2) qualified meetings booked – the question isn’t “how many meetings” but rather “how many tier 1 ICP meetings were booked?” A good way to measure this is creating a score system for each meeting. For us, a call with the CFO of a company that has raised $100m is given more weight than one with a non-decision maker from a bootstrapped company.
3) revenue per meeting – fewer meetings can still lead to more revenue. % of meetings that close is a good way to measure lead quality and product market fit, but an even better way is to see how much revenue is generated per meeting.
This shift has already happened and these metrics force teams to redefine what “good outbound” now means.
Despite graduating in 3 years with a near perfect GPA, I got rejected from 100s of jobs
It put a chip on my shoulder that never really went away and is something most @Meow employees share
