Matt Bixby

My one wish for you is that you're okay.

The wisest words I've ever uttered are "I don't know."

There is no sarcasm font. If you're joking, spell it out.

Sorry friends, I'm leaving here. "Social" media is inherently anti-social & is hurtling us towards disaster. We need to unplug. NOW. This world is a wonderful, beautiful place. It is filled with wonderful, beautiful & imperfect people (especially YOU). I hope to see you soon!

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@MarkonCars @annaspringster You are obviously on the DNC payroll.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@loffredojeremy How can I best articulate what I'm thinking...?

Honestly, the best I can do is:

"I don't f#$ing think so."

I trust pill-pushing pharmaceutical companies as far as I can throw them.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@carterbahns From the first pitch, @MEPOSU has been expressing concern over the strike zone. What's your take?

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@MurielB36874892 @progressivebrat Politics: The art of accepting or ignoring actions from "our" candidate which, if committed by "their" candidate, would have us reaching for our torches and pitchforks.

My 9th birthday... parents thought I needed a hobby. Wouldn't tell me where we were going... ended up at Anaheim Stadium and watched the Angels lose 10-2 to the White Sox.

They created a monster. I have been a baseball nut since then... and turn 50 next week.

[BaseballHistoryNut @nut_history]

Do you remember the first ballpark you attended for an #MLB game? Please quote if you do

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@UnringThisBell As someone who can't afford to fly first class... or to eat at fine restaurants... I'm really not sure what to say.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@jakewisk @jlmannisto @HistoryBoomer @sometherapist You win the day with this tweet, sir!!

🙂

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@whatkindofhell1 @ZaidJilani This could be one of those bots @elonmusk seems concerned about 😉

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@PaulRoundy1 @michaelzlin My biggest doubt about mask efficacy comes from a simple experiment... looking myself in the mirror while wearing a mask, breathing normally, and watching my hair move with each breath.

It's a spit blocker and that's pretty much it.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@ItsGoneAwry In other words, just another day on @Twitter

It's really sad, isn't it? We are far more alike than we are different, but the constant online drumbeat is that the "other" is a deplorable extremist whose only goal is to turn the world into dystopia.

This is antisocial media.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@PaulRoundy1 @michaelzlin Doesn't it also depend on how long the masks are worn? It's hard to fathom how anything (other than an N95 with a good seal) would be effective after several hours of hot breath going through it.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@HistoryBoomer In other words... SSDD.

😁

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@PadmaLakshmi In America, no one should be a minority. E plurbus unum - From Many, One.

That's my stance. If we're Americans, we're brothers and sisters. Anything less doesn't work.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@Toure Have you ever wondered about the real roots of racism and asked... are we fighting this fight the right way? Or, despite good intentions, are we making it worse?

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@SaucySaidIt @CBSMornings @CBSNews These shootings are horrific. They are the embodiment of deranged lunacy. The people who are responsible have become evil...

But what congressional act will stop them? What solutions do they take?

🙁

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@MarvinBeaverman @kerryeggers @BeaverBaseball I was thinking the same thing listening to him Friday night.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@carterbahns Sounds like the plate umpire today is having his share of issues.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@carterbahns Thanks for looking that up. Glad it didn't turn into anything.

[Matt Bixby @MattBix72]

@DHotwheelz Hopefully I'm not making a mistake by replying... what happened is awful and yes, it's evil.

But isn't a person who would commit such an act the very definition of "deranged" aka mentally ill??
