I was really looking forward to attending first in-person conference in 2 years, but #melbournelockdown2021.
But better virtual (conference) than none, so you can catch me talking about our #alpine#peatland#microbial work at #2021ASM@AUSSOCMIC this Thursday morning!
A huge congratulations to Dr Keaton Crosse @keaton_crosse and Matthew Brewer @MattBrewerMicro, for becoming our newest HDR completions! We are looking forward to seeing how you both shape the world with your science! @LTUresearchers
Congratulations to @JW_ilikedirt and @AgBioEn, wonderful to see the diverse teams brought together to conduct important work for a carbon neutral future. @LTUresearchers

A huge congratulations to Professor Ashley Franks from @PAM_latrobe and Professor Tang’s group from @latrobe for securing a successful #DP21 to investigate how increased atmospheric CO2 effects carbon and nitrogen cycles in major cropping soils. @FranksMicrolab@LTUresearchers
So happy to have secured a #DP21 with Tang’s soil science group. We will investigate the effect of high atmospheric CO2 on carbon and nitrogen cycles in major cropping soils. It’s great to receive this recognition for our work together. @latrobe@LTUresearchers @PAM_latrobe
Waking up bright and early to present my poster at #UnityInDiversity virtual summit!
Join https://t.co/K9F3Wdb8nU to have a chat about the degradation of dieldrin from the soil! #ISME
2 PhD Industry scholarships (The Centre for Future Landscapes) to examine the relationship between natural capital and on-farm biodiversity in grazing and cropping systems in south-eastern Australia; one PhD will focus on native plants and the other on soil microbes. Close Dec 11
Bite size microbiology. Really enjoying the Lightning Round talks at #MicroSeq2020 conference. Shout out to @MattBrewerMicro and @genedrendel for using their short time extremely well to communicate the crux of their research in environmental microbiology so clearly.
In 2015 I started a Bachelors degree at this campus without a clue on what a research article even was. Today, I submit a 20,000 word thesis in fulfilment of a Master of Science degree.
Thank you @latrobe for this phenomenal journey. I can't wait for my next adventure.
@Truly_SarahK@FranksMicrolab That hashtag is golden, definitely not running for president but I might consider a PhD!
Thank you Sarah, after much consideration I decided not to put that figure in my thesis 😂
