A tradition unlike any other, weather delays at the #WCWS. That 11 p.m. start for the Cowgirls tonight will be fun.

This perfectly encapsulates how I feel about coach. One couldn't ask for a better representative for OSU, the culture and programs in Stillwater. He embraced everything about the university.

@thacoachmike taught me a lot in our 6 years together, but this is my favorite. Nobody, and I mean nobody, worked harder and represented OSU better than Mike Boynton. I’m proud to call him a friend.

[The Athletic @TheAthletic]

Hockey has a lot of unwritten rules, and we seem to spend a lot of time discussing them. But have we considered how ridiculous they are?

[Matthew Clayton @mattc77]

@PatrickPrinceTW @OColly The early days were tough and just unreal based on what college athletics looks like today. That was a long time ago. I’m continually amazed at what that program has turned into and the work it took. Even in the tough times, everyone in that program was amazing to work with.

[Matthew Clayton @mattc77]

My first “beat” at the @OColly in spring of 1996. The number of times I talked to OSU Athletic Department officials about that program getting off the ground. Writing about the coach hiring process, starting the team. Memories. A lifetime ago.

Some #okstate news: Karen Hancock has stepped into a full-time role as senior associate athletic director. She spent 28 years coaching Cowgirl soccer, helping start that program from scratch.
