@FedExHelp get your shit together. Your drivers either leave my packages on the street or drive up the driveway where they can’t fit and hit my power lines.

Oh, the horror. Look how much Murphy dreads his walks because of the torture device he has to wear. Can you see the fear? 😉
In case the winky face is unclear - the above is sarcasm. This should be your dog’s attitude toward any gear you use. #dogs #dogtrainingtips #dogtraining

Snarling is not smiling. No, your dog isn’t a special case. It’s not cute. #dog #dogs #dogsoftwitter #dogtrainingtips #dogtraining

Murphy and Parker sure know how to chill. Training doesn’t create robots. They get plenty of unstructured time too. #dog #dogs #dogsoftwitter #dogtrainingtips #dogtraining

What to do if you get approached by an off leash #dog in public....
This happens all the time and most people don’t know how to handle it. Make it easier by teaching your dog how to heel and sit so you can handle things. Link in bio to learn how! #dogs #dogsoftwitter

Heeling (loose-leash walking) - a critical skill more people & #dogs need. Learn why here, and if you want to know more or learn how to do it, check the link in my bio. My online Basic #Obedience course can show you how! #dog #dogsoftwitter #dogtrainingtips #dogtraining

If you don’t know your dog’s comfortable temperature range, go outside more! That’s how you learn. If your dog is shivering, and can’t warm up at walking speed, put a jacket on.

I get emails like this all the time. Dog trainers who try to stop unwanted behavior with positive reinforcement are either woefully misinformed or lying to you about animal behavior. #dog #dogs #dogsoftwitter #dogs #dogtraining

[Matthew Connell @mattcodogman]

My Basic Obedience course will be published soon (within the next week). In it, I take the time to thoroughly explain the mechanisms of learning and how it applies to getting great results with your dog.

Prong collars were designed to be able to control dogs of any size with the gentlest of hand movements. And it would take effort to hurt your dog with one. They’re designed for safety. #dog #dogs #dogsoftwitter #dogs #dogtraining

First-time dog owners: Don’t get a large, powerful, high-drive herding breed. It will walk all over you. You wouldn’t buy a Laborghini for a 16-year-old driver, would you? #dog #dogs #dogsoftwitter #dogs #dogtraining

[Matthew Connell @mattcodogman]

Little dogs need training too. They aren’t excused simply because they’re small. And there’s nothing cute about a tiny dog that acts like a little shit. #dog #dogs #dogsoftwitter #dogs #dogtraining

When dealing with aggression in dogs, correct early and interrupt the dog’s obsessive thought process that leads up to the outburst. Bo here gets a couple blips from the ecollar when he starts staring, then is redirected.

@BernieSanders sat in on a dog training session today. He was upset that Murphy doesn’t have health insurance. We discussed how broadly #MedicareForAll should be defined. 😂
