@MenInBlazers I think it puts attention on both of them. Pulisic for his obvious anger - beyond frustration - expressed consistently. The Ref - displaying an unwillingness to engage post game. Could have settled Pulisic in game with a YC. It demonstrates immaturity and lack of experience.

@benwright I hate when the home team boos anything their side does when at home. Complain on social media if you must, but the players and coaches don’t deserve it from supporters during the game or after. We don’t know the things these guys are facing in real time. Supporters - support!

@valairshabilla I think there is a lot to his statement, especially when considering some of our players being booed as they are brought on…case in point last night and the “steely” response after a goal. Gary Smith is a consummate gentleman, great coach! Will be missed.

The folks from the USL days don’t make up a significant portion at GEODIS Park, but the reason Gary had so much goodwill in that crowd and with members of the media is that he is genuinely a good person, and I hope with time that NSC fans will be quick to give him his flowers.
