So I did a little more digging into the source of this information.

The image below is a screenshot taken from a YouTube video by "The Pro Wrestling Shoot", who claims that the email below was sent to him by another content creator.

The email is apparently from the German branch of Finn Partners (A marketing agency) which has been partnered with 2K since 2023. So it is NOT a direct statement from the 2K devs and it isn't an official statement by any means. I've also checked out Finn Partners's website, which does state that they're partnered with 2K but no information on 2K25 has been posted.

For all we know the email could be fake as there's nothing to back it up. For me personally this is another case of "Source? Just trust me bro!" and the internet has done what it does best by sharing it like it's fact, taking things out of context and jumping to conclusions.

This post doesn't necessarily tell you guys anything you need to know, it's just more speculation on top of more speculation. But hopefully it clarifies things a bit better for anyone worrying about this. Yes The Island is confirmed to be "Next-Gen" exclusive, but I'd take the part about community creations (note that it also doesn't state that cross-gen is a thing of the past) with a grain of salt at the moment until we see more or @WWEgames give us more information.
