Considering the destruction continuing to be wreaked by HS2 on the environment, wildlife habitats and communities, I still see no reason to spend Β£bns on 155 miles of track in an age of austerity and technological advancement which is seeing fewer people travel to work.
The electoral college is like splitting Britain into "Cornwall" and "Everything Except Cornwall" and giving Cornwall 1 vote, and "Everything Except Cornwall" 3 votes, cos "Everything Except Cornwall" is a bit bigger than "Cornwall" by a margin of some sort.
