@BradStewart2306@UnderdogNBA@ShamsCharania I feel like this has been purposely done to cause confusion strategy wise. and depending on how the series goes, we see AR/luka either earlier or later.
Sometimes if I know I have to go out and socialize, I open a couple of terminals and claude code sessions on my laptop and remote control in from my phone in case I get overstimulated or bored while im out lol.
Two AI website experiments crushed by Helpful Content Update (HCU) that appear to POSSIBLY be recovering... ever so slightly, with December 2024 update. Both sites content untouched before and after. Interested if anyone else seeing the same? #SEO
@nathangotch Wild. I wonder how much weight there is to user signals and CTR with this new algo. Does anyone have any data about this yet?
Just a hypothethis, but sites like Reddit, Quora, Medium, and Ecommerce are fantastic at getting people to stay on site after satisfying their query.
@PeterMindenhall@JonGillhams@nseodev@AIoriginality I have some similar to this but they are not de-indexed completely. If I use the site: operator in Google, pages are still there, but similar graph. No manual penalty either. So this site has no pages indexed?
@PeterMindenhall@JonGillhams@nseodev@AIoriginality You have extensive first-party data across many, many domains that suggests sites that had good consistent traffic before March 5th and were completely de-indexed post march 5th were NOT hit with a manual penalty?
You are doing the same thing you are complaining about. Prove it
If Google algo = ranking great people first content
Then making Google optimized content = great content right?
So why would Google discourage you from optimizing for Google? π€·ββοΈ

@lilyraynyc Mens fashion SERPs now overrun with New York Times, WSJ, CNN, and time magazine. Lol really makes a ton of sense for sure. Definitely don't rank the amazing niche sites that are titled "I spent $8420 on cashmere sweaters, here are the best ones". Yeah that's much worse...
@lilyraynyc I have also examined several recipe/craft sites that are winning from the update that run display ads. One common trait is that they almost all have a 'shop' where they sell templates, recipes, cookbooks, etc. I also noticed about 80% of them have a ton of UGC comments.
