About Fluminense: 🧵
Fluminense does not play a shape game, it is tempo attacking. Both position to the ball, but in this case, Flu, but the presence of positional diagonals is the difference compared to Diniz's continuous shape (triangles, quadrilaterals) build-break game.

Thought for today:
People who want to be the best have to be prepared to deal with being misunderstood by average people. Average people won’t understand why you have to miss (or leave early from) parties, events, etc. They won’t understand why you have to get to bed at a decent hour, why you have to stay ahead in classes, why you can go to the greasy burger joint at 2 am. Always keep in mind, THAT’S WHY THEY ARE AVERAGE.

60 Minutes interviewed Hermes artistic director Pierre-Alexis Dumas, a 6th generation descendant of the Hermes founder.
They asked him why it took so long to make Birkin/Kelly Bags (20-30 hours by one artisan) and if there was a way to speed it up.
Dumas cooked with his answer:
A sad and frustrating reality about autism is that most people place their own (incorrect) meaning to your actions and don't care that they misread/misunderstood your intentions. And also aren't open to understanding them.
I watch games these days and it’s just box midfields, half space occupation, sideways passes to ‘move the oppinment’. Then I see analysts on here wax lyrical about the genius of these coaches. They all follow the same blueprint, they’re all the same. Doesn’t that bother you?
We can break these situations into drills based on categories:
2vs1 and 3vs2 fit Basic Situation drills.
4+1vs3+1 are sectorial, worked through Rondos.
4+3vs4+2 are intersectorial, used in Positional Games
