I like this shit here. Fresno trying to build a rival. Very admirable, respect. All these highlights and none of them came by a victory 🤔. Can’t put highlights up from a game where one dude became a legend & gave a Heisman performance of a lifetime. Valid effort, Do better.
Fresno State fans always bring up “Valley Tough.”
Brother, the sun is 114 degrees and the air smells like manure. You’re not tough, you’re surviving a hostage situation.
Did @john_fanta and @CSimmsQB just refer to @FresnoStateFB as "cupcakes?" I think it's been decades since I've heard that level of disrespect for the 'Dogs. 6 days and counting...
@RyanGaroogian@Jason Tesla FSD had me run a stop sign and turn in front of a pickup going 55mph last night. It’s the best system by miles, but still has flaws.
nikeBYyou leakz 👀👀
@JaMorant previewed new Nike By You colorways of his Ja 4 shoe during his visit to his alma mater, Crestwood High School, with @hibbettofficial
Sneaker ppl being excited about a sneaker store going out of business because they didn't get a hyped sneaker on release is a microcosm of what was wrong with the sneaker scene in its peak era
@tonjkb Can confirm that we do get the opportunity to touch the wall or ropes during a quarter break, halftime, and the occasional time out, but yeah, it’s quite standard that in a 2+ hour practice we only touch the side of the pool for a water break.
Bun is 1000% right. Every Houston artist that got signed in that 04-06 wave were selling HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF RECORDS in this region before the masses caught them.
“Already platinum” wasn’t just an album name. Slim was selling records. Real tangible records
Flip, Paul, Chamillionaire, Mike jones were selling RECORDS. Everybody but Paul had a label with artists signed to them before the companies even made their way here. Yes a label wants a piece of that.
KP was a label head at Arista bc LA Reid took over when the label pushed Clive out, and he made JD head of black music, KP head of A&R, and B Cox under him. They had the 2 biggest acts in black music at the time. usher, and OutKast. So yeah. They sign what they understand. They also signed niggas that have HITS or a ton of motion they can work with.
Face was head of def jam south and still couldn’t get guys signed bc the heads at def jam didn’t sign off on it. He was finally able to get ludacris out of that deal. But all the other southern artists he brought got passed on
Bun knows this fully. He lived it. He saw the shift. He predates nearly everyone in south east Texas except rap-a-lot
@La3Life@vladieboi There have been some very talented people who have come through there, but by in large the outlet fed off of the original work of others.
