@SonOfChelsea@journalism_rp@matissearmani@pavisback@GoldbergCFC But I guess you have to add that there quite a few game he completely goes missing and how do you quantify his complete abdication of responsibility when we don’t have the ball? All the hole he leaves in midfield?
@RorySmith Think the thing was, ironically Curacao played like a Bundesliga side in that they decided defending was a concept they just didn’t care for. If they decided to defend maybe it would’ve been more like 3-0.
@SebC__ But if just not getting injured is the criteria surely there’s less crap options? Always available to never be where he should be on the pitch and always reliable to pass to his teammates wrong foot…
@thegibshow_@HLTCO If you're in the UK WHSmith are squirrelling it away somewhere besides their magazine stands, it'll be somewhere else in the shop. Why? Just cause I guess...
@SockCouncil We do but you wouldn’t say particularly at ST we have lots of options. He’s a goal scorer and there’s not lots of those about in 2026. Think you have to centre the team on him. Also, all it means for the team is you need runners in behind which you should do anyway.
@Louis_Beneventi Fully on board with how bad the SDs are, but if you’re a young player Brighton is probably the top choice. You get exposure in a top league, clear pathway and they have proof of concept.
@declanstar1 I mean, if you're putting Premier League, Arsenal have 4 Chelsea have 5... If you want to put that modern frame on it, you haven't really been relevant for 20 years so...
@CFCCentral3 This being said, we may be working too hard to find this profile. See what Mateta’s injury comeback has been like and he’s right there, albeit it double the price.
