Within a few seconds of the *BANG!*, Jason Behunin leapt into action, moved physical barriers and engaged in active crowd control, barking orders literally telling people to flee and the exact path to flee in. No regard for his own safety in an active shooter situation. To his side, Charlie's security team was so panicked about more possible incoming shots, that they would soon move Charlie "off the X." Not Jason. He stood his ground, calm as a summer's morning, instantly shepherding the crowd to safety.

Then, a few seconds later with his crowd control duties already a distant memory—while the spectators were still fleeing & running for their lives, with some even screaming in terror as they ran past him—ol' Jason Behunin stood tall in the saddle, presciently capturing footage to send to the TV station. Not a care in the world for his own life in an alleged active shooter situation. Cool as the other side of the pillow.

We're all indebted to his quick thinking and bravery to stand in the line of fire to capture some B-roll for the local telecast to use in its breaking news coverage. What would they have done without his footage? Lucky for them that he risked his life for daytime TV.
