@JackPittBrooke TAA - arguably the best passer & crosser of a ball from a RB position that ENG have got - not being in the squad almost dictates the approach. Scraped by Congo, MEX, NOR. Beaten by the first decent team they played; ARG.
@DougieCritchley That’s not a foul. If anything, he’s kicked Vinicius Junior. At best, it’s extremely soft. At worst, it’s a big error from VAR. Scotland, very lucky.
@MarkLazerus Similar sentiment; got some very disapproving glances from Canadians & Americans alike for calling hockey ‘ice hockey’ whilst on holiday in Mexico. Bruins t-shirt wasn’t very popular either.

@Jabronihunter1@OllieHolt22 The finish was excellent but let’s not pretend that the build up was brilliant football. It was a lucky ricochet that got Havertz in. Also, on another day, could have been a handball on Trossard too.
@Scaife51 Get this but think you need 5 after Ibou leaves as a minimum/par. Durable RB, experienced CB, a MF & 2 attackers. Not unrealistic. Happy with other 4 if Ibou had stayed.
@kevinhatchard Agree with this but isn’t that it in a nutshell. Bayern have a couple of gears they can go to if needs be whereas all others don’t have that luxury.
@bbcmerseysport@DistanceCovered@philmunnsradio Entirely rational opinion here. The manager has made numerous mistakes & the squad is nowhere near where it needs to be. I’m edging towards making a change but that wouldn’t automatically fix the other issues I.e. the make up of the squad. Serious job to do in a World Cup summer.

@DougieCritchley Absolutely agree that Bayern & PSG have better players than most -if not all - of the top Premier League teams but them playing in leagues that are weaker, playing games against weaker opposition every weekend, surely makes some difference.
@swearimnotpaul Read the article & minutes played isn’t mentioned. Sentiment is that the Premier League is competitive most weekends unlike Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga. Don’t think that is unfair.
@swearimnotpaul So you’re saying that the Premier League is the most intense, competitive league in Europe then? Entirely the point in the article. Well done. You know that it’s not the minutes played but whom those minutes are played against.
@Jon_Mackenzie Plenty of good teams. No great ones. Similar to last season. Don’t think the style of football the majority of teams play has helped either but love watching teams like Bournemouth & Brighton.
