Stop Asking People Why

Why did you start? Why did you put in so much effort into it? That’s where everybody gets it wrong, starting asking people Why Not?

Why not see how much money you can make. Why not see where whatever you’re doing is going to get you? Why not try learn as many new skills as you can?

Why are you making videos and tweeting your journey because Why Not?

There doesn’t always have to be a reason why. I may not be the most inspirational guy out there, trying to make the money because i’m broke or grew up in a bad place, but the reason i’m doing everything is genuinely because why not.

I’m probably the worst asian out there

Didn’t do well in school. Didn’t get into a top university. Shit at saving money. Never was able to commit to anything long enough to be good at it

I’m very grateful I was brought up in a place where I was able to gain the experiences and do the things i was able to do. Although I did say the idea of failing is glamorized way too much. All these failed ventures and opportunities I didn’t take molded me to the person I am. Whether it was the AI agency project or the golf apparel project, all the skills I learned passed on to the project I’m locked in on.

Failure is a step for success, only if you treat it as something that’s gonna push you forward instead of holding you back. Take those failures in work, school, relationships and let them be the drivers of your success. All the motivation you need is within, once you understand that nothing can or will hold you back from getting what you want.

Had the opportunity to go on a 10 day client retreat in dubai, networking and just hanging out with guys making over 30k a month in the online space literally ranging from fitness coaches to tik tok shop. Really putting my foot down, taking a step out of my comfort zone forcing myself to grow. Just got back and it was probably one of the best decisions of my life, the amount of insight, tips and work ethic that rubbed off on me from these guys cannot be expressed from words.

As cringe as it sounds, the people that you surround yourself with really makes a big difference as it dictates how much success you’re going to have. If you surround yourself with guys already succeeding from the thing you are doing, then you know it’s possible. I’m motivated as fuck from this trip.

First week of appointment setting:

Went well:
- Managed to get the volume in and stay consistent clocking in the hours
- Got like 6 qualified booked calls
- 1 closed set in the first week, paying full upfront
- Tested out my AI and realizing it actually works

Things I learnt:
- Post booking rapport is so fucking important because so many people don’t even show up for the calls
- Don’t waste time on unqualified leads
- Be more assertive, leads should want to talk to you, you shouldn’t be too pushy or needy
- Quantity of outreach doesn’t matter it’s the quality of the people you outreach too
- Gotta keep a balanced day, exercise and don’t just work all day

Honestly been a pretty good week, can’t explain how much joy i get when a set closes or even when a qualified lead books. One thing I would say tho, don’t think about the money, do it because u love it not because ure gonna get that commission. If money is the only thing that’s driving you, you’re gonna give up real quick. We on the road, the journey has started.
