@KJF239 If you have the electronic subscription to the archives then you should be able to make student accounts using their emails. They then have access to all the articles online. The articles are good bc they highlight spec points. Comes with questions and mark schemes too.

@Trudgeteacher @joe__kirby If staff are already doing it then we can even learn from them or highlight good practice in diff forms? We could see LW as a form of CPD in itself. Learning walks can also be targeted for staff who we're trying to support the development of their practice,

@Trudgeteacher @joe__kirby This is very specific to my school where T&L is less developed compared to most schools. It could be something as simple as talking about giving wait time or how to cold call effectively. Once again, cpd that was determined from initial assessment.

@Trudgeteacher @joe__kirby Well that's the purpose of learning walks, no? To see the good practice and share it with the rest of the school? Some of the staff do need it because of initial assessment of school where students weren't settling or had no routines at the beginning of the lesson.

@joe__kirby I think CPD is great but don't we need to check and see if good practice is being utilised? Surely we can implement these learning walks in a supportive manner? Or do I have it wrong in that LW are a form of QA that is frowned upon?

@joe__kirby For q2, what do you mean by counterproductive practices? Practice by staff or by leaders? Not sure how that applies in this situation about seeing if staff are implementing the skill from CPD (retrieval practice)
