Prior to the works, leaving Leeds on A64 no warning of major A64 works until Seacroft and that sign is tiny, where are the portable matrix signs? You need to warn drivers as far back as Leeds city centre so drivers can divert and Tadcaster on A64! The current warning are too near

@NGNgas A64 Works near Scholes Leeds, please can you do more to stop traffic leaving the A64 and cutting through local villages to avoid the A64 roadworks, current signs asking drivers to stick to man A64 are tiny, very poor signage before works that would allow people to divert

@HighwaysYORKS I see signs on A64 saying works start at York in August for 3 months, Fulford to Grimston Bar, looking online says 40mph limit but you’re not got anything on your roadworks page! Surely we need to know about these works.

@Hudsonweather Finally we have had the heat health alert upgraded seemed daft considering we are on third heatwave in Leeds yet had no warning in place until now.

And no warning for Yorkshire and Humber, the other week all the south was Amber and Yorkshire yellow then last minute Yorkshire was upgraded to Amber, this seriously need looking at as they seem to have overlooked the hottest areas.

@HighwaysYORKS absolute chaos at Rillington near Malton on A64! Queued for over an hour to find them just drain cleaning!!! Listed on line as emergency works!! Seriously no routine works on A64 March to October, van fest on, usual Friday traffic, you need to get these works moved

@HighwaysYORKS please could someone look at the CCTV camera on the A1(M) J44 A64 Roundabout! It’s not worked for days and with the roadworks in that area it’s vital for us to check traffic before setting off!

It’s far enough away from the village, it’s not connected to any side roads so only motorway traffic can use, so that rules out litter on local roads! I live locally and support jobs and investment, you are nimby’s that’s all!!

@HighwaysYORKS This is sadly where you lack! Surely the A64 needs more CCTV, matrix signs and flow monitors, the police posted on social media 1 hour before I messaged you, then you didn’t believe me until you heard from the police! It’s pretty poor as you operate the A64!!
