@RealEmirHan Yeah, Ryan Renyold's somewhat famous line, "Too much money and too much time will murder creativity," is one that sticks with me
When you're working on local theater there's always a "Better" way to do that, but that way usually costs time and money, and often it's not worth it
@TheKingofKatz@fandompulse Ok, let me rephrase: It's not fair to call him a narcissist because of a comment. It's just boilerplate public statements people make when they're looking to not feed trolls or piss off members of their own teams.
I'm really not in a place to judge if he is a Narcissist or not.
@azur_heike@fandompulse Honestly, I think we're in a place where it will take a decade and being interviewed by a colleague before honest conversations can be had in public.
I've star #StarCity. It feels more British than Russia because of their choice to use English accents.
I get the conceit that the English accent is the universal stand in, but it feels weird for a franchise that has consistenly hired Russian speakers.
What do you guys think?
@comicbookaddt Fatal Attractions... not this particular edition, but the actual books I ever read.
First crossover I've ever collect first to last, and it had those cool holograms on the cover. It was smart, and had real, lasting consequences.
Made me love X-Men.
@realPeterCrerar Yeah, as an unpublished/pre-published novelist I think it's pretentious to talk about your writing to friends and family.
My friends know I write, but none of them know much about it.
I'm just a hobby novelist, but for me it's less about about a word count, and more about completing a scene.
I'm a plotter, so ideally I have a scene I've been framing out with a middle, beginning and end that I'll want to get to when I sit down.
If I can get that out in one sitting I'll consider that a successful session.
Still, I've never had a bad day when I'm writing.
@RobotechNews Looks great! Robotech was one of those seminal peices of my childhood. It was my first encounter with serialized story telling and more an mature plot and characters.
@AuthorGFAllen I haven't lived in the same area as my brother over over a decade, but he is still using my old address so he can access a library two counties over from where he lives.
