A day after our son was born, my wife turned to me in the hospital and said, "I want to be a nurse."

Kristina was doing well in her job, but it wasn't her calling.

After our birth experience she found her calling.

3 weeks postpartum, she was taking pre-recs.

Then started full-time in school months later.

The PLU program was an accelerated program which means there was a full degree squeezed into 14 months.

This past weekend, she was pinned as a nurse and she will be a labor and delivery resident nurse in the very hospital she gave birth - where the dream was born.

This adventure has been challenging.

We were/are learning to be parents, her going to school full-time, and me running a business.

There was a lot of sacrifice these past few years.

We wouldn't change it for the world.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone have a desire for their life and then push themselves to achieve this goal.

The impact Kristina will have for families and children in the future will be nothing short of amazing.

Our kids will grow up with parents who are pushing for their passions and callings.

I love you, Kristina.
