Now that AI can use Blender, I’m seeing more people use high-fidelity 3D to drive AI video.
IMO, that’s a bad idea if you want realism. Lower-fidelity input lets the model translate your intent better.
@sifxtreme you can get close to what i'm saying with those, i think. if MCP into both from codex or whatever, than you definitely can.

interpretability might be the most important scientific problem in the world right now, as I don't think we can solve alignment if we don't know what we're building. I think I have good news about it. I co-authored early work in mechanistic interpretability at OpenAI and came away pessimistic, because neural networks appeared to fold into arbitrary tangled knots. years later, I started openai's first large-scale automated interpretability project, finding about 2% of neurons legible with the primitive tools we had
with modern agentic tools and a much closer look, the picture looks totally different. the vast majority in models up to trillions of parameters are legible, and their circuits beautiful. many famous examples of tangled neurons turned out to be misunderstood. The roadblocks I expected mostly aren't there. I now think ambitious interpretability will be solved by the time we need it most, and possibly quite soon, as automated scientists keep improving. it may be a bitter lesson for interpretability: the simple thing, at absurd scale, works

@pranavpiyush@HausAnalytics Right, what I mean is YouTube is relatively unique in how badly they measure something that would be highly favorable to them.
I don't think any other of their digital peers come close to underreporting their own ROI as badly as YouTube does. You have more data than me though!
Excellent research from @HausAnalytics on YouTube’s ROI.
My take on why this gap exists: it is solely due to Google’s poor self-measurement. Advertisers spend less because the ROI looks bad even when it’s not, which suppresses demand, and therefore CPMs. The folks who measure ROI properly are the only beneficiaries.
This should be a P0 for YouTube to fix, but it’s been this way for years.
@growwithbamboo clients certainly benefitted from this arbitrage so I guess it’s not that sad. Thanks, big G!
