@fnthawar@yacineMTB I like it
My phrasing has always been
The blank gets better at blanking by blanking
So the writer gets better at writing by writer.
@GergelyOrosz All major developers who people looked up to for knowledge have reached the same conclusion
Hand coding is dead
Who are the famous contrarians left?
best thing about going to networking events and getting outside of your bubble
getting that dose of introspection when people are mortified you let instinct go on a clothes shopping spree
1. A student from Waterloo emailed me asking for advice
2. Replied
3. Got an AI-generated reply, very clearly templated
4. Looked back: the original email was probably AI-written
5. This is how you wreck cold email for everyone else, even from univesity domains
Dead internet
shipped to cerebro 2026-10-14
- amplify: instagram story galleries that publish every frame, plus a picker to pull images straight from our cerebro media library (tested on my own IG)
- https://t.co/3Cq7vgjPTD signups now flow into cerebro as contacts
- mobile: admins can program and rewrite NFC check-in stickers from the cerebro app
some sharpening the saw updates:
- prototyped an NFC front-door tap for @776NYC : tap, join, selfie, and you're on the wall
- my assistant now sends an ask to whichever claude session I named for that topic
making a list like this is THE scouting signal from the best in the world
congrats Chloe, keep it up!

We’ve made launch cheaper. We’ve made spacecraft cheaper.
The next bottleneck is operations.
Solo moves mission operations onboard, allowing spacecraft to detect problems and make decisions – independent from Earth.
This is how we scale into the Solar System.
What does it take to build a company with values that truly last?
Steve Jobs famously cared about the design of components inside computers that customers would never see. When engineers questioned why it mattered, his answer was simple: “But we're going to know.”
It wasn't just about design. It was about teaching a principle that should guide every decision, even when no one is watching.
Kuba Filipowski and I discuss on Next in Commerce why a durable company ethos starts with doing the right thing, not just when it matters to others, but because it matters to you.

the human mind biases to see the bad cases in which people use AI
look for ways that AI can also give someone their capabilities back

Today, Baroness Campbell of Surbiton delivered a speech in the @UKHouseofLords using an AI recreation of her voice, built by ElevenLabs. A first for the UK Parliament.
Baroness Campbell has spinal muscular atrophy, which affects her speech. The Baroness has now created an AI voice that replicates the tone, rhythm, and pitch of her original voice.
Our technology has now been used to restore the voices of more than 11,000 people who have lost their voices through injury or illness, and we’ve committed to help one million people living with voice loss around the world.
what my AI chief of staff did yesterday:
- designed nfc check-in badges and plaques, made print-ready artwork and ordered a small sticker-and-tag test batch
- compared smart glasses for running my own assistant
- submitted a clothing return and got the prepaid label and packing slip ready (first ai clothing shipment was NOT A SUCCESS)
gotta prep for what distribution looks like in the personal agent era
this stuff is all so new it's hard to think about all the places it's going to disrupt.
a big take I've been noodling on and I’m ready to call:
the newsletter is dead
@every's core business is a newsletter with 120k+ subscribers so I don't say this lightly.
persistent agents mean i dont look at my inbox
with dots (GrokBots, Muse, etc) I almost never look at my inbox. if I do it's for a specific thing I need to reply to.
i think in a year I'll be doing all of my email this way - fully filtered by my dot / something like it.
this is not new: it's a continuation of the trend of having a “newsletter” folder in Gmail, but 10x more filtered.
what it means
It doesn’t mean people won't read newsletters, but it does mean that getting a person’s email is no longer the guarantee that you have a relationship with them that it used to.
luckily, with persistent agents (and AI coding more generally) there is an entirely new playing field to build relationships with readers. instead of fighting to get an email address, publishers and creators will need to make sure we're installed in our reader's agent harness of choice, so that they get directly notified when we do something new.
we're already starting to experiment with this @every with our MCP and the frontier alerts we send users of our slack agent (https://t.co/L7ergneERt)
it's also more affordable than ever for publishers and creators to build their own platform ecosystem: you can have your own website, app etc. and you can use AI to publish 100x more high-quality stuff to your community—so we may see a world where many creators themselves are running their own little empires that have their own apps, feeds etc.
to be clear: It'll take a while before this actually happens, but the idea of getting someone's email creating a direct relationship with them is over.
here's a set of predictions I made 3 years ago about AI and media that panned out pretty well: https://t.co/vrozmuWxyj
"powered by our own stack"
HECK YES - own your stack (especially now)
i love the number of screens in this picture (Boom is a 776 co)

XB-1 flight test used clunky legacy software, while incubating in-house telemetry in parallel.
The stats you saw on the supersonic livestream were powered by our own stack.
Now the legacy software is gone and the engine control room runs entirely on our code.
definitely an advocate for getting married younger (if you have knowledge of yourself)
the right person is going to push your growth in ways you would never expect
don't wait for "career stability" - the point is to go on the journey together
This is all such prescient advice and very much aligns with my life.
I met my wife when we were 22 (now 37). We were both broke but very high potential.
The only thing I might change about our run together is having kids sooner because it's SUCH A TREAT. We could've had them sooner and still accrued all of the wins.
Find your ride or die ASAP!
congrats on the launch! glad i got the time to talk you about seed oils and different additives in foods.
i'm so jealous - can't wait for you to expand to Los Angeles!
