@GMRench I get the use of the lowercase "c" in this, but am I wrong to consider the Christians who don't live like Christ as not true members of any church? Where is the line drawn between what you're considering the "biggest problem with America" and the spotless bride of Christ?

@thisisfoster Great reminder of this truth! External obedience matters, but it does not override obedience of the heart. "It runs on competition before men, not reverence before God" is such a good line!

The best advice I can give for father's wanting to train their children up in the Lord is to just jump in and start! Read the Word out loud, pray over your family, sing together. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just show up for your family and point them towards Christ!

@Joseph_Spurgeon This is so true! It is a gift to be able to train our children and help rightly order the affections of their heart. I pray my children stand on my shoulders and do the same for their children after them to the glory of God.
