Started my first #Twitter account shortly after SXSW 2007. A year later, I started this account.
#X isn't America. It's simply an amplifier of the worst aspects of it.
It's time to end my engagement with this platform. I encourage advertisers to do the same.
I'm now getting notifications of @elonmusk tweets. I don't follow him, never will. He's truly turned this platform into his own personal shitshow, grasping so desperately for attention. This will be my last tweet as long as he's the owner.
@JohnFugelsang When I saw who was sitting on the dais, the first thought I had was that these are all people who seek power. Doesn't matter if it's a politician, a journalist, a billionaire, or a cardinal.
Donald Trump concludes his Fox & Friends interview by saying he's about to go meet with Rupert Murdoch and tell him Fox shouldn't allow negative ads for the final 21 days or Democrats on air "and then we'll have a victory, because I think everyone wants to have a victory."
Great episode of the 10% Happier podcast with @danbharris. If humans could learn to manage their anger, we'd live in a completely different world. Great lessons shared in this episode! https://t.co/7bJBZh83nL
@danbharris Look forward to listening to this, @danbharris. Through IFS, I've discovered that anger, fear and shame are just parts of myself that are trying to protect me from harm. By unburdening them, I can be self-led and improve myself, rather than parts-led which limits growth.
Fear begets hate.
Hate keeps us from feeling fear. It's gives us a semblance of control. It's actionable, whereas fear feels vulnerable.
We're at where we're at in the U.S. because too many people are unwilling/unable to address their fears.
Leaders spewing hate know this.
@Acyn Half the country lives in a fauxtocracy. Nothing is real, everything is nefarious, fear is the underlying driver of their anger. And they're being exploited to the hilt by individuals who know how to push their buttons.
Trump: Oh, there's a fly. Oh, I wonder where the fly came from. See, two years ago, I wouldn't have had a fly up here. You’re changing rapidly. We can’t take it any longer
As Tucker Carlson’s tour rolls on, headliner Roseanne Barr tells a cheering audience that the elites are eating babies and are vampires who drink blood and love the taste of human flesh but Trump is going to stop it.
This horrific form of "justice" is the antithesis of living by the better angels of our nature. The shame of this act, and every execution, is a stain that every American wears on their souls as long as this abomination exists.

This might be the most brilliant video from Tim Walz so far from this entire election cycle.
"Look, they didn't give me a manual for this if you didn't plan on using it to fix your truck. They didn't create that Project 2025 just to have it sit around as a doorstop."
