Is service of a summons required to apply to a court for an order confirming a foreign arbitration award? In a case of first impression, the Second Circuit held this week that it is not. Full opinion here: https://t.co/B0bpKJWpUI
Today the Delhi High Court set aside a US$560 million ICC arbitration award rendered in 2015, on grounds it "suffers from patent illegalities and fraud and is in conflict with the Public Policy of India." (Antrix Corp. Ltd v. Devas Multimedia Pvt. Ltd).
