@LinseedPaint Is it suitable for interior use on historic lime plaster and joinery? How breathable/vapour permeable is it, compared to a conventional acrylic paint, clay paint and limewash?
@SJohnsonEsq @LostMarbleBrick @khsurveyors You could try @LinseedPaint, we’ve used it on various external jobs - timber windows and fencing, metal railings, even a bit of signwriting on Bath stone. Lovely stuff and no mildew problems after 2 or 3 years.
@jinkypane@PeteWard7 You could try Kevin McCabe, I think I’ve seen him working in Torcross before. Maybe ask @HeritageCobLime or @Mike_Wye_Eco if they’ve got any local contacts?
@PeteWard7 Hi Pete, does this sound OK as a lime plaster ceiling spec? 1860s house, original lath and plaster ceiling sadly long gone. Reinstate lime plaster ceilings with Irish sheepwool between timber joists, woodwool boards, hot-mix lime hemp plaster. Limewash/clay paint.
