Fabulous to have @brooklynDA join his voice in support of the CREEP Act. So that ALL New Yorkers can be protected from stalkers. @Sen_Gounardes@votejgr
Eight years after filing for @MatthewSHerrick , today I finally confronted Grindr in the 9th Circuit in its ongoing crusade to use Section 230 to avoid any duty of care.

I loved the interactive nature of #TechSafety. Topic "Online Abuse; Real Life Harms" prompted great conversations about emerging trends and promising practices. I have to thank my amazing co-presenter Matthew Herrick for being vulnerable, honest, powerful. @AEquitasResourc
Breakout sessions are starting here at #TechSummit! First up are @MatthewSHerrick and Jane Anderson (@AEquitasResourc) presenting: "Online Abuse, Real-Life Harm: Collaborating to Combat Common Defenses to Online Abuse Cases."
This is why it’s harmful for groups like NCOSE to involve themselves in the IBSA movement. AOC’s statement was about the DEFIANCE Act which would create civil cause of action for deepfakes. Not about p0rn. Unfortunate that AOC highlighted NCOSE quote in support bc it legitimizes
When nonconsensual deepfakes of Taylor Swift went viral on here, the platform didn't step in — her fans and concerned viewers did. Via mass-reporting, people were able to get many of the deepfakes taken down. But most victims "don’t have millions of fans."

Proud moment to be a part of The White House Task force Against Online Abuse and Harassment. It was an amazing day filled with incredible people I am so grateful to know. @cagoldberglaw
Thank you @abbyvesoulis for being so meticulous and thoughtful in this article. I’m so grateful to be featured in it. @cagoldberglaw thank you for helping light a fire inside of me I never knew existed until everyone shut the door and we opened a new one together.
Platforms like Grindr and Tinder have broad legal immunity when they hook users up with con artists, rapists, and murderers—for now.

Soooo excited to share this @MotherJones cover article (OMG!!) featuring our cases holding dating apps responsible for the catastrophic injuries and trauma they cause. Such a good piece by @abbyvesoulis and featuring THE @MatthewSHerrick
Listen to this @radiolab ep about our case against Grindr!!!! But don’t believe the propaganda that changing Section 230 is the end of the internet. Other industries survive being responsible for the serious injuries they cause.
