Sad to hear about the passing of Doug Skaff, Jr.

Doug was a longtime public servant - former Minority Leader of the WV House of Delegates, president of HD Media, interim director of the WV Press Association, and a powerful presence across West Virginia. He most recently ran for Secretary of State, continuing his mission to serve and uplift the Mountain State.

We went to college together, and worked on several of the same initiatives through the years. Doug was always deeply committed to making his community, his state, and the world a better place.

He even helped bring back iconic WV businesses like Fazio’s in Charleston - just one example of how much he cared about keeping West Virginia vibrant and thriving.

Sending love and light to his family, friends, and all who are mourning this tremendous loss.

RIP, @dougskaff.
