@bobandtom I've always heard "Never meet your heroes". Bob was the exception. He came on a show with 3 nobodies during a difficult time in his life and gave us an hour I will always cherish while acting like he was the one who felt honored. He was a legend in every sense of the word.

He has deals with Nike, red bull, and fanatics. Those would have followed him anywhere and i believe all but fanatics were signed before he committed. There are also very few places where he wouldn't have been the focal point and have a style catered to his strengths.

@ZacharyBarjona @awfulannouncing Bama plays a highly contested game vs 5-7 Auburn while ND demolished Stan in a similar game and gets slid above them. Then Bama gets destroyed in the title game and stays above them If Bama goes into rivalry week above ND no solid argument. That wasn't the case.

Can you say the moves of Alabama and Miami were not strategic to put this scenario in play if virginia lost? I mean they make the rankings and knew Duke could win.

The title games matter.. unless they don't... making it matters.. unless it doesn't. notre dame didn't play and was moved down but miami was moved up not playing. Top 10 then not in an off week

@TreFourE @Kuanedge58 @EvilTomHanks @awfulannouncing The last 6 weeks of the season Alabama beat a sub .500 team in a comeback win, beat a terrible lsu team, lost to OK, played an fcs team, and squeaked by another sub .500 team then were put above ND and then got destroyed in the title game
