@systems_glitch Here is my stash of P3101. Had to use a few to repair a PDP-11/05 CPU so I used up some. Never really understood Intel date codes though. On the backside it says 7939 and 7909. So quite late.
@saburwulf Actually I think what you hear is the power supplies whining a bit differently depending on how the memory is accessed. Not core itself. At least this is how my 11/05 behaves. The PSU design vary the frequency a bit depending on load and are switching at a quite low frequency.
@w1ngselec I still have a 12 slot 8/a and some 10 slot chassis. Reasonable weight. The big BA8-C should have been mounted on slides IMO. I wonder what they thought when they designed it.
Just got this vintage 1975 pdp-8/a running. New PSUs to make it more โportableโ (and able to support all sorts of core memories). Will become my test bed for all sorts of Omnibus boards.
@applemuzeumpl Interesting! How did the Lisa communicate with the Apollo? Apollo had token ring as the standard network. Were there Appletalk for Apollo?
@CommodoreLad@Crashedfiesta Yes. That would be the first thing to check for. It looks like they are yellow in this one. I see several round and yellow tantalum capacitors in the picture.
@AlbertoTenrio Hello Alberto! I have put all I have on github: https://t.co/aO4i3NcJwH I made this more than 5 years ago so I perhaps have forgotten things. I made two Arduino-sketches which control the printer. I know I had to do add som pull-down resistors. Hope it works!
@jeriellsworth You already hav Sys V on it. But if you want more RAM and perhaps the software engineering ROM and BASIC you could build my memory add-on project: https://t.co/a2uzb4fBIl
@jeriellsworth@DrDnar Curious: Did I get you right that you had a black column line and you fixed a bad solder joint to fix it? Mine has a black horisontal line and I havenโt tried yet but perhaps I should just dig in and try to reflow som solder joints. BTW. It is an EL display, not plasma.
@ThePiloseOne Here are a couple of disk images that I dumped years ago. One of them is for the 2114. Maybe you have seen them already? https://t.co/Hd4Iks5iZj
