@JAMESWOODINGER@TheGoodPhight The phillies did the sane thing from 07-11 , winning 5 straight divisions. But they didn’t consistently get bounced in the division round nor did they break up the division streak. But you do you pal. Also its been 5 years since the playoffs for the nats so🤷♂️
@JAMESWOODINGER@TheGoodPhight Pure dominance? The nats missed the playoffs in 13,15, and 18 lmao. And they never made it past the division round until 2019! Dominance my ass
@JAMESWOODINGER@TheGoodPhight 2012 was only 4 years later lol. Thats not very recent. But sure from 2012-2018 the nats didnt even make it past the divisional round. It took 8 years to FINALLY get there. In reality, the phils should get 3 more years to match the nats then🤷♂️. Its only fair
@JAMESWOODINGER@TheGoodPhight I mean 2008 is still pretty recent. I can watch that one instead if you want pal. Or hell even 2009 i could watch highlights from. How many years can you watch from?
@DMacWake316 Causing his hand to not be able to transfer his weight properly. Again, he did touch the bag and slid past it will being tagged im just trying to explain it how i see it(2)
@DMacWake316 The one thing that could be argued(not that im making it i understand the call) is the tag when he was originally awarded the base from the walk prevented him from fully securing the base ie. Some sort of obstruction. Bc his hand DID get touched before he touched the bag(1)
@scottgossage76@mchads_ I honestly have no idea. I mean it makes sense lol. Idk if its how they create plans or study film. But baseball savant does show that wheeler is the best defended pitcher on the Phillies so 🤷♂️
@Philsbirdsthrow@Phils215@MalsSports His stats arent the greatest but he has been one of the better third basemen sonce the beginning of may lol. Obviously you want to upgrade but a 33 ye old declining third baseman on an expensive contract is NOT the way to go lmal
@scottgossage76@mchads_ The phillies defense actually plays above average with those two guys. Average with luzardo. And below average with nola. So it does make sense
@Mrstanleycup@Phillies Makes 10 times out of 10. They needed ass. They took the guy that had the best track record, coming off an elite season, and that one they liked the most. The other 3 ss are STILL worse than trea(since signing) even with his terrible year so far
@Mrstanleycup@Phillies Do people not understand that turner was a win now move and you deal with the consequences later? He was signed as the best ss in that class, after coming off many seasons of be elite. He demanded that contract bc of previous play. Was it too large? Yes but thats a move you(1)
@Sanchez4Cy Derek hill has an ops over .750 against lefties this year thatll play. Same thing with sosa. Stubbs shouldnt face lefties and if he does it bc marchan/jt cant play. Jt gets like 1 day off a week so marchan has to start every once in awhile, deal with it
@birdsbomb22@CoreySeidman Still had an ops over .800 while showing up in the postseason. Who cares about a .197 batting average when you get on base with a .350 obp and slug over .500 lmao
@HowieBurner@Chickie31976 Actually he shouldve used the 23 nlds instead of the ws. He hit 3 home runs against the braves that series lol. But even then, this playoff stats are still better than his regular season stats
