Matt Johnson

God, family, all things Virginia Tech.

@TimThomasTLP @kjf3009 @AndyBitterVT @AWLinVA @TechSideline It probably doesn't help that for what I think is the first time in several years, VT, JMU, and UVA all have graduation this weekend.

@mikegolicjr Found some at the local Walmart a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, they were a bit underwhelming for me but I'm not a fan of fake banana flavor.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@SportsFanShawn All the sudden things just got really shady in here... 😄

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

Hey @crowdermusic, @zachwilliams, and @mattmahermusic. Today my dad, Eddie Johnson, turns 83 and he's celebrating his birthday by seeing you all in concert at the Salem Civic Center tonight. What are the chances he can get a shout out from the stage?

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@SportsFanShawn I'm not a fan of either team, but there's no doubt there is something wrong with a process that somehow puts ND ahead of Miami, when Miami beat them on the field and the other stats are equivalent.

Nothing like hanging out in the living room while my wife watches "Dancing with me Stars" and all of the sudden you hear @tommeeprofitt being used for one of the dances!

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@DerwinLGray He is...inevitable.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

I love watching @JFerguson27 on the sideline getting hype when @HokiesFB players do their thing!

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@NickBrown33 @TechSideline Wasn't my intent to take a shot at the graphic or use thereof. Apologies if it came across that way. When I first saw it, something about using a punter felt representative of the season. Totally get though why it's important to rep all areas of the team. Agree it's a great shot.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@RickyLaBlue I feel like we're finally seeing guys out there who genuinely want to play for Tech and are willing to lay it all out on the field. Still some issues that need to be addressed but the effort from the last couple of weeks is taking me back to the early 90s.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@MatthewBerryTMR Mayfield and Egbuka to score fewer than 5.02 points combined in one league. Jeanty and Dicker combined to score 12 more points than McLaughlin solo.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

I saw better football last night from the Waynesboro High School Little Giants, and they lost 41-0. #Hokies

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@BlueCrew4ever And if we say Drones is the best option we have, why haven't we been able to get better talent at the position in the last 3 years, which again comes back to the top. I like Pry and think he has done a lot of good things for the program but as a program we're still bleeding out.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

#Hokies can't stop Vandy run or pass game. Drones is mentally shaken. Ballgame. Looks like 0-2 is on the horizon.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@BlueCrew4ever Top down in my opinion. Can't see how Drones should be the starter. Little to no real progress in multiple years at the position. Granted, having a new coordinator takes some time but the same issues that have been there over time are still apparent. So why has Pry got him QB1?

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@DaveScarangella You are just as right today as you were yesterday morning. I grew up a VT fan and always will be. If 2-8-1 didn't shutdown my love of the Hokies nothing will, but it's rough to see all the hard work it took to get us to a level of national respect continue to get chipped away.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

Hey @espn don't you think that if Clemson is up by 11, with the ball, and less than 3 minutes left in the game that the upset alert is over and you should switch to the @HokiesFB game?

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@sheetz Ketchup, mustard, slaw, and hot sauce.

[Matt Johnson @mattj4vt]

@tommeeprofitt All of them are awesome in their own way, but "The Birth of a King" is tops for me. Just totally groundbreaking in terms of Christmas music, at least as far as I'm concerned.
