Liberal MP Matt Jeneroux says he "couldn't be prouder" to join Mark Carney's Liberal government.
"I had announced my resignation back in November, largely due to family reasons, but quite simply couldn't sit on the sidelines."
"For me, it felt disingenuous and quite simply wrong to be sitting on the sidelines anymore."
Happy Friday! Put a thumbs up 👍 if you agree @MarkJCarney is a better leader than PP could ever be! Mark is Working for Canadians, building and strengthening relationships with allied countries and is growing our economy! Liberals put Canada first! Trend: #KeepCarneyAsPM ❤️

The Raptors have communicated internally that their entire focus from now until training camp is preparing for a major playoff push in 2025-2026.
I've long believed that organizations need a singular direction, a singular priority... and that the organizations that either fail to pick a direction or aim in too many directions often fall flat on their faces.
Take the Warriors two timelines approach. Trading for Jimmy Butler now is fine... Imagine if you'd done this 5 years ago when you had the 2nd overall pick and wasted it on James Wiseman?
Or better yet, take the Raptors approach to attempting to squeeze their championship leftovers in Siakam and Fred into a new focus around Scottie Barnes.
You need to make a decision. And failing to make a decision is in itself a decision.
The Raptors could have chosen to tear this whole thing down after Fred left and opted for 2-3 years of tanking. Instead they got back assets they've converted into serviceable starters around Scottie Barnes (Quickley, Barrett, Ingram).
While many fans are rooting for losses to pad their odds at Cooper Flagg, and while the Raptors themselves have stated they're committed to playing the youth and praying to the lottery Gods, there will be zero deliberate losing going on here.
They'll play the kids to get them better and boost their trade value. They'll play their core players to get their chemistry on the right page.
Expect some wins that'll have you scratching your head. And if that results in a 10th seed finish and a play-in shot, they'll probably live with it.
The Toronto Raptors are converting two-way forward Jamison Battle to a three-year standard NBA deal, sources tell ESPN. The Ohio State product has averaged 5.4 points and 12.6 minutes for the Raptors this season.
