Afghan asylum seeker ruled unfit for trial after fatal stabbing spree – claimed he was evicted and 'never fit in'

Safi Dawood, 22, arrived illegally in a lorry five years ago, was granted asylum in 2022, and allegedly murdered Wayne while attempting to kill two others – including a 14-year-old boy – in Uxbridge on October 27, 2025.

He was days from eviction when he launched the frenzied knife attack on his landlord and others.

A psychiatrist now deems him unfit to plead or stand trial, with no recovery timeline – critics slam it as a convenient excuse letting a dangerous migrant dodge full justice.
