@SashaKaletsky@modic123 It's just to ensure you are actually working. These companies have 10,000+ "Experts". Often paid hrly where you clock in and out. So, many will claim they are working but actually are not. Tools like insightful let you monitor activity
@NateSilver538 No way is this true. Will be way more ties now. Something like 70% of OT games before the rule change ended in sudden death (if tied after 1st possession next score wins). New rules dont really have sudden death and cap at 10 minutes of playtime. Bet it's more like 10x not 2x
@esaagar If you live in a state like MN or WI, it gets dark at 5pm and you're stuck in the house all winter for 4 - 5 months. Having an extra hr of sunlight after work let's you take your family for a walk, get outside, and improve life and happiness dramatically.
@esaagar Bad take. I like to go on a walk with my family and not be shrouded in darkness at 5pm after work for 5 months of the year. Depends on where you live probably. I'm in the midwest, up north. SAD is real and more sunlight after work helps
@jsmian As someone in the industry, no one has really figured out how to effectively deploy and use AI to make meaningful impact on daily ops. Especially at the enterprise level. Very useful tool for departments and individuals who know what they are doing still.
@mboyle1 If you've ever worked at a company doing layoffs, turnaround, new leadership, whatever - it's the same thing. If you know you are providing value and they can't afford to lose you, you don't lose a wink of sleep. The ones who aren't doing shit are the ones who freak out.
@ClayTravis Yes. This is why we are tough. No one even mentions minnesota when discussing cursed sports teams. For the past 30 years. Nothing. Just heartbreak. We aren't even lovable loses. Just losers. Every year.
@ClayTravis You know CEOs don't design their own comp, right? The compensation committee on the board of directors does (which the ceo is not allowed on per SEC regulation). Iger needed to be convinced to come back after shareholder value π under Chapek. He's not coming back just for fun..
@JeffDarlington Mahomes has been getting calls that win him games for years. Eagles SB, Cincinnati AFC championship game, a number of games this year. Boohoo. It was "hard to swallow for football" when Jalon hurts didn't get the ball with 1.5 min left for a dpi call that wasn't a flag all game
@BowTiedHH Have worked for 2 tech startups that offer unlimited PTO. Sounds great, right? Well joining a startup means everyone is expected to GRIND. Can't really miss work unless you are well established in the org. Even then, there is a ton of pressure to be online or things can fail.
@ClayTravis@RobertIger@Disney@espn Welcome to being an employee of a company! Signing a contract to exchange your labor for money is pretty standard... 99% of people do this. And often for harder work and less money. But this person confidently claims it is akin to slavery while the hosts politely nod along.
@Billyhottakes Yes. But it goes deeper. Nfl has been rigging the system for the chiefs to win for 2 years. Got all the calls tonight, got all the calls vs Philly in the SB (https://t.co/I5YBO73jkJ), got all the calls vs CIN in the afc championship (https://t.co/I93ed97oJq).
