@BBCSport I like the suggestion that you have the equivalent of an "umpire's call". So if an offside falls within a predetermined margin of error, the system kicks out 'Referee's Call' and you stick with the onfield decision. Though still doesn't get to the heart of the issue for many.
NFL, cricket, rugby... all understand that transparency won't solve officiating issues, but it's better than gatekeeping. Who benefits from not sharing it?
I don't like the amount of focus placed on referees, but show them how professional you are. Or is that the problem.
