Tim Elmore: “The best way adolescents gain wisdom is by doing ... Teens need genuine, high-stakes experiences … surrounded by conversations that help them process those experiences and mature.”
Teenagers immersed in missions grow up faster. In your church?
Student Pastors: Do I primarily mobilize my students to take the Good News to the lost—or do I primarily disciple students inside the church?
No choice necessary. Equipping/sending students to the lost is THE most powerful form of discipleship.
Today, I choose to know more of what Christ has done for me and for those near me and far from me. And as the depths of his grace and love continue to be made known to me, I choose to come to Him in fear and trembling because he is worthy.
“But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.”
Mark 5:33 ESV
2 things that stood out to me in my time in the Word this morning…
2. If so, what is your response this day? Is it similar to this woman? One of “fear and trembling”? I tend to think the fear she experienced was not one of being afraid, but of being in awe. I don’t tend to run to the things I’m afraid of. The woman came to Jesus in fear (awe).
Hey @KATVNews ! Congrats on the new studio. However, the image quality of the studio feed is really subpar and blurry. Your B-Roll, prerecorded segments, and even the bottom-screen crawler and logo/clock/temp are way clearer. Just FYI if you didn’t know already.

Ironically, those who say, ‘We shouldn’t send missionaries because we still have so many problems here’ betray an implicitly imperialist understanding of missions. We don’t go to export a problem-free culture (which it most def is not) but a perfect Savior who died in our place.
So, I guess I made the mistake of retweeting Chad Morris a few years back. I know, I know. Bad decision. And I’m still paying the repercussions through Twitter’s periodic email to me with the headline… “Chad Morris just tweeted…” 🤦♂️
@KATVToddYak @KATVJames That was a dirty rain last night in WLR. Any ideas why? Never had this type of residue on my windshield after a rain. Almost red clay hue.
I love investing in future leaders. Grateful as always to teach Intro to Student Ministry today for @Ouachita . Bright future ahead for the Church! Thanks for the invite @Clay_Cunningham
