Our depth is only reason we’re in this series tbh. Hedman injury gets ruled out by Dobson also being injured, and even that’s a stretch. Dobson is probably a bigger miss to the Habs defensively than Hedman is to Tampa.

If MTLs 1st line doesn’t show up 5v5, TB will likely take the series

Slaf: 0-4
Suzuki: 0-4
Caufield: 0-5

They are sub 45% xGF% after this game at 5v5 while the Tampa players are all above 58% with Hage at 68% xGF%

Why is no one talking about how the top line is -5 at 5v5…? Yes they have points but all on the PP, where you can argue its expected. And even then, PP has been okay at best.

We cant keep relying on depth. Tampa’s top line is lightyears ahead of ours. Kapanen played sub 8min. Is it time to change things up…? Our top 2 lines are liabilities at even strength.
