@Soberverse Six years sober today on my 48th birthday. I was a broken, convicted felon, hopeless variety, wishing for death. Today, lead a recovery ministry, community leader, recovery advocate, father, husband, and productive member of society. Just another example of that we do recover!

Today, I celebrate my 48th birthday and six years of sobriety today. I'm living proof recovery is possible, and thanks be to God for all the good in my life that sobriety has given me. My family and I spent the day on campus at my Alma Mater, Chattanooga Mocs.

@RacheLaneMartin That's such a blessing. Treatment friends can make the coolest stories of hope. My two best friends we also met in treatment. We are all three named Matt, and we all three have been sober for close to six years. I wouldn't want to do life or recovery without them.
