@_TyAnderson I like this, especially on a prove it deal. Kid had a tough break last year, but looked good as a bottom pair early on.
Let's them save even more cash if they (hopefully) don't re-sign Peeke.
@_TyAnderson The minute he was drafted as the next speedy, skinny, talented winger after Pasta (and unfairly compared to him, an unrealistic expectation was placed on him.
How he, or anyone else, can be called a bust at 20 years of age is pure b.s, nevermind personal attacks.
Wish him luck
@smclaughlin9 Also possible Peterka isn't the only return from Utah.
Losing Toronto's 1st this year and the snowball from there with Philly etc likely threw a big wrench into draft plans for the next 15 calendar months.
@robbiehendricks '82 here.
Article was meant to be a positive, painting us as a unique generation capable of both digital and analog technology.
Yet all I heard was geriatric, as I turned 40 and felt 80. Dark times.
@robbiehendricks It gets worse.
A few years ago I heard the term "geriatric millennials" to describe early 80's birth years.
Irreversibly scarred by that moniker.
@briandefelice_ Still the greatest hockey game I've ever seen.
It had it all: offense yet only 1 goal late, Timmy/Roloson absolute clinic of a duel, Stamkos being a warrior for his team, the Timmy/St Louis respect, etc.
No penalties, but none really missed either. Hard, clean, exciting hockey.
@heIpfullandlord Thats why I asked.
Sounds like it doesn't ruin your morning if he doesn't show or hurt your excitement level to play.
On the surface it sounds maddening, but I bet the great mornings more than make up for it.
@heIpfullandlord My 4 year old recently said something similar to a photo of him and I when he was about 3 months old and he was smiling. "This is when Dad and I become best friends".
@Dirtdog I prefer clapping to flipping the bird.
Next time someone does something really bad and looks back just give 'em this reaction. Worth it everytime.
@resetbasis Luckily I was at Game 7.
Buddy and I drove to NY on a whim and bought tickets from a scalper at Bot of 1st - after Sox went up 2-0.
High-fived D-Lowe on the dugout post-game, before they shut the lights off on the field. "Yankees Suck!" chanting through the halls was surreal.
@MickColageo IMO they over-achieved. This year was supposed to be about structure and returning to a hard to play against group. They did that.
Now I don't personally love the hybrid D, but I'm not an NHL coach!
Emergence of 93, 92, 45 was a huge step. '11 doesn't happen without '06-10.
@smclaughlin9 McAvoy needs to either take the guy or direct Pasta there. First goal he made a terrible decision too.
Given his Olympic run, last half of the year, and playoff experience - really expected much more from him this series than what we've seen.
@TCalauttis I always think if you have a good 4th line, you start them at home. Set a tone, set a tempo, let the other lines feed off it.
They went to Pasta first, and I get it based on the OT, but nothing happens.
@smclaughlin9 60+ games a year over and over - too much. He has been below .900 SV% each of those four playoffs too.
To be fair though, none of the guys left who won with them 5-6 years ago have been particularly impressive or desperate either (maybe Point).
It's been Hagel and Guentzel.
