Ontario's economic future depends on a strong, highly-skilled workforce - and we're building it.
Today, I was proud to announce our $1.7B investment to fund 70,000 more seats in high-demand programs at our colleges and universities across Ontario.
Since February, we've funded 30K additional seats, and today, I launched a call for proposals to create 40K new seats in STEM, health care, skilled trades and teaching.
Our government is expanding the programs students want to build the workforce Ontario needs.
