In 2024 I voted for Trump. In 2026 I plan on voting for anyone who is committed to impeaching Trump and removing him from office. This war of aggression is illegal and an abomination.

Could be wrong but here's my read:

Both Israeli and US intel lied to Trump and told him that Iran's nuclear program would be taken out via the bunker busters and that it would avoid any need for a major war.

He found out last night that this was a lie to get Iran to kill American troops in response and to force Trump into a full on the ground regime change invasion. By the grace of God Iran contacted someone trustworthy in Trump's orbit to warn of their retaliatory strikes and to avoid casualties which would have led to war with the US.

Trump now knows that the Iranians do not want war with us and that, in fact, Israel was trying to trap him into one.

Hence the public posts and profanity-laced tirade from Trump towards Israel this morning.

If I'm right, and I think I am, let's hope Trump now understands the games being played against him. If he removes many people in the intel community and keeps Netanyahu at arm's length it'll both be the right move and prove my hypothesis correct.

Let's hope I'm right.

Serving in Iraq and seeing the results definitely disillusioned me about US meddling and senseless wars, but Dave Smith's main beat is Israel. Is Israel's war to defend themselves from a Satanic, genocidal, Nazi death cult a "senseless war?" I don't think so. In fact, I think it's not only a just war, I think a lack of will to fight it will mean the end of the West.
