@TheBobStew Bob… he has as secure a job as his mentor Glen Sather did. He learned from the best, the draft is where you reach for projects and then try in free agency to make up for it by giving retirement plans to aging vets.
Tim Lincecum won back-to-back Cy Young Awards, threw 2 no-hitters and won 3 World Series trophies 🤯
He became known as “The Freak”
But his story started in Washington, where he won Washington State Player of the Year after striking out 183 batters in just 91 and two-thirds innings in his senior year of high school
In his final season at the University of Washington, Lincecum had a 1.94 ERA, striking out 199 batters in 125 innings 😳
He broke his foot three weeks ago and everyone thought he was done for the year.
He anchored Duke’s comeback in the Sweet 16 tonight.
Caleb Foster is a Duke legend. Unforgettable performance
Yikes: A Seahawks fan ordered a Super Bowl hat from New Era and when it came it had the Patriots engraved on the back...
Fanatics and New Era need to be stopped 🤦♂️
You are a monopoly since you have bought up all your competitors. You deserve all the negativity you have received, it’s long overdue in fact. Being someone that collects sports merchandise is way more difficult and less enjoyable in the last half decade thanks to fanatics
@PaulieP44 No, it wasn’t built right at all to begin with. The old place had character , along with amazing sight lines. Other teams knew it was a unique place to play in
1975: It was a point of excitement for #NYGiants w/ the opening of their new Giants Stadium home in 1976. In the 1975 yearbook, Giff waxed poetic about it's location & it was state of the art 50 years ago. It was a great stadium to go see Giants games. Not a bad seat
Ric Flair says Tiffany Stratton bringing up Charlotte Flair's divorce in her promo was a cheap shot.
“That was the cheapest shot I’ve ever heard in my life. It was hurtful, and if it was a shoot, that’s even worse. That’s not something to joke about.”
After the Celtics won the championship I saw Kristaps Porzingis blessing underpaid arena workers with envelopes of money,
When Kristaps participated in meet and greets (3 in the last 2 years) he always made sure that there was a portion of the money went to charity.
I watched this guy take time away from his family to give the media some of his time.
He was a selfless guy that quietly did a lot of good for a-lot of people.
I wish we got to witness him 100% healthy on the court, but unfortunately we never really got to see that.
KP will always be a Celtics Legend in my eyes.
20 years from now I will still be wearing #8 jerseys and remembering Banner 18.
