@SensFan97_ I think we’re starting to see the trend of even capable 3rd pair D-men getting higher salaries. With that said, you’re right, he doesn’t really profile well as a 3rd pair with his upside.

If you’re getting a substantial return on him then you have to consider it.

Personally, this means Jordan Spence’s value is $5M+ as Spence is much more complete defenceman.

A 4 year $5M-5.5M would be excellent value for Spence
