On December 1st I launched a blog. How very retro! So far I've written an article every day. I wonder how long I'll keep this up. Today's article is on the challenge of debugging without useful logs. https://t.co/HZU8l1RKsY
@LeShuttle_Help@flowerlf Are you genuinely trying to proclaim you have no system problem today? Having everyone send you a private message and then you having to respond wastes both our time and yours. How about a public post explaining what's going on?
being autistic means spending a lifetime being misunderstood.
our direct communication is misinterpreted as rudeness, our inquisitive nature is misinterpreted as being judging, and our need for quiet time is misinterpreted as being anti-social.
@TBashscripts@amaldorai@meaning_enjoyer There's a fun (and free) web game which goes through more or less these steps: https://t.co/LOy4dBhOSH
Better yet, no ads or tracking. A rare find these days.
At what point can you invoice companies for wasting your time? I've now asked @ExpediaUK for help on the SAME issue ten times since August '22, exchanging nearly 100 messages and have been promised someone from escalations will contact me no less that 8 times (nobody ever does)
A student just told Mom’s for Liberty cofounder Bridget Ziegler that she deserves to be fired from her job on his school board because she’s terrible at it, not because she had a threesome with another woman. Someone please buy this guy a drink or a coffee for me. He’s a hero.
@UPS_UK I am still trying to get this issue solved and have heard nothing other than platitudes. What specifically is the reason for delay please. Note that this request originated over 3 months ago.
@UPS_UK I am now on > 5 phonecalls and 20 email threads and 9 online chats with support to try to resolve a difficult issue. On the most recent call, the call-taker hung up on me mid-explanation. Please can someone help me resolve this.
@UPS_UK I am now on >20 phonecalls and 20 email threads and 11 online chats and with support to try to resolve a difficult issue from August. I've clearly fallen through gaps in the process. What would you recommend?
Today I learned: the opposite of a boycott (avoiding someone's products/services due to their behaviour/beliefs) is a buycott, which means to buy them in support of.
@martinrue I have recently started doing more with Golang in personal time. Currently working on a comment API/js insert. Last year I did a few AdventOfCode puzzles in it, maybe I'll do the same this year. (I also did a couple in ansible, that was tough!)
