@leathergregory I’m a fan of getting loads of stuff
scanned by the cashier, and just before paying, dropping an “oh I’ve forgotten something” and then just not coming back.

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@WillMarshall15 The litmus test is “what will the TNT Twitter admin use this winter?” They will obviously say ‘around’ the wicket, therefore we can definitively say ‘round’ the wicket is correct.

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@ZeqiriDan I honestly think it’s at least partly based on that clip of the AFTV people clapping at full time. That is held up as how the manager and team want every big game to go despite it not being their reaction!

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@WillMarshall15 And now a joke about Nasser’s nose! Playing the greatest hits

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@WillMarshall15 Hayden couldn’t get the mic quickly enough to deliver the blow either! Leapt off his chair

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@LewisSteele_ You’re right, let’s just be miserable all the time and not enjoy winning. Or do we have to ask your permission first?

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@Seb_Hutch @FootballCliches They can get sticky if you don’t

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@cricketjim1 It’s a bit like saying when Broad goes big he goes really big

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@Sam_Lloyd14 It sounds like he was describing Man City! I wonder what he made of Rodri going down after 3 seconds and Dias, Haaland and others constantly being in the ref’s face

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@_PhilCosta Gave the ref no option Phil

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@Flannyballs He comments on things he wants to have happened rather than what has actually happened

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@kickarseHD Worse than Carlos
Sanchez in the 5-0 against Villa?

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@Carra23 Nothing on Leverkusen this week?

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@rpetty80 A 9-6 and a 6-5 in 2008/09 really is beautiful

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@kickarseHD After years of being told we were arrogant for trying to play in these big away games and getting pumped. Not sure what people want?

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@PaddyArsenal We had Gallas as ‘our’ pundit at Newcastle last year and now Clichy. What’s next?! Adebayor and then Van Persie?!

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@YankeeGunner He’s no Lacazette of course though…

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@CapableOfFlight I also agree it’s disappointing, especially with players like Elneny and Cedric that clearly have no future at the club playing. Just don’t have an issue with people like Jorginho, Nelson, Nketiah starting or else they never will by the time we might need them.

[Matt @mattsayles_98]

@CapableOfFlight Of course he can improve, I just don’t think other teams and managers do the full team rest and rotations that fans want, look at Bayern tonight for an example. Is it more important for players to keep up fitness rather than have a week off?
