There was one i saw on here before twitter Refreshed and now can't find it typical.

But there was one of guy using a Nintendo Switch style cartridges that had a usb cartridge slot that plugs into a pc and they had full games on them.

It's great that people are trying to find whys to do this and keep physical alive.

Physical game collections could be coming to the Steam Deck.

A new Decky plugin called Decky Links lets you launch games using:

• NFC tags
• QR codes
• USB drives
• Even floppy disks

Just save a Steam game link on the tag or drive. When your Steam Deck detects it, the game launches automatically.

No game files are stored on the tag, only the launch link.

It's a simple but really fun idea that makes launching games feel like using real physical media again.

I completely agree with this, we have had more big updates for console in the last 7 months then we have had in all 5 years Xbox series has been out.

I am quietly optimistic of where she wants to take Xbox both as a console and as an ecosystem
