@d2fbspotlight Just finished up my 5th year of D2 football. I played 3.5 years at Hillsdale College and 1 year at Colorado School of Mines. My school was paid for, I met my best friends, and play competitive ball for 5 seasons. D1 or bust doesn’t work out for most people, so ball where you can!

Feeling grateful! @MinesFootball was such a great experience for my son, @mattsody as a grad transfer. He had awesome teammates, coaches, fans and excellent competition in the RMAC.

He was nominated as a team captain and got the Defensive Player of the Year award. From the beginning, he felt right at home. Sad that his college football days are over, but am super thankful that he ended at Mines!
