@EricJDirksen Warning: If you tweet snarking at a newly minted synodical delegate, you may return to Twitter to find yourself praying there’s a calendar reminder glitch come the Fall.
@EricJDirksen @ncdeluna @PaulVanderKlay@ayjay I have found the Lenten lectionary texts particularly helpful in this season. I dare to anticipate that the Easter texts will meet me in similar ways.
@RELEVANTpodcast Are there any updates on steps @RELEVANT is taking with respect to a board of advisers, etc? At one point regular updates had been mentioned, but it's been awhile without any news.
@pgutacker I should add that I've used https://t.co/G4BUrSrBbw for a project and found it very easy (so the comment comes from some experience). The only risk point is if anchor went down, but as long as I have the original files, that wasn't such a big deal to me.
@pgutacker No pressure, I just found myself searching for it the other day. If you're looking for a super easy and simple way, https://t.co/G4BUrSrBbw could fit the bill. Set up and post and it puts the feed in all the places. You give up hosting your own files but could be an option.
@jenn_baerg Unsolicited idea - so feel free to cast aside. But I resonate with your instincts/desire and am grateful for what my church practices on that day.
@jenn_baerg Jenn, we use a Tenebrae service on Good Friday which I've found helpful in avoiding "Easter lite" (although I don't know if it captures the fullness of your experience, of course). The increasing darkness helps us not move too quickly towards Easter celebration.
People of the world. You know me. You know I rarely enter the fray of public discourse. But today is that day. I have received word that Trader Joe's discontinued their honey butter chips. Together we can bring them back. For the children...and me. https://t.co/tIa0YVlxJg
