@TFWatch @Jeffrey72586805 @thetimes I take your point, but getting the whole electorate to vote might be a better plan. 4 out of 10 bothered to turn out, the Tory girl polled 50%, so 8 out of 10 Hartlepool voters didn't vote Tory. I believe Australia has compulsory voting.
